"Demonstrating our contributions to open-source graphics, web engines, and embedded systems"

Next week, we’re heading to Nuremberg, Germany, for Embedded World 2025 (March 11-13)! As always, we’re excited to showcase our latest work in open-source graphics, web technologies, and embedded systems.

If you’re attending, be sure to visit us at Booth 4-636. Whether you’re passionate about graphics drivers, web engines, gaming performance, or VR, we have something exciting to show you.

What You’ll See at Our Booth

🖥️ Raspberry Pi: Unleashing the power of 3D graphics

We’ve been enhancing the graphics stack for the Raspberry Pi 4 and 5, bringing better performance and improved memory management. Our latest milestones include:

  • Vulkan 1.3 support, unlocking more advanced functionality
  • Super Pages, optimizing memory usage for smoother performance

These improvements push the limits of what’s possible with open-source graphics on embedded devices. Come see it in action at our booth!

🎮 Steam Deck: Better Performance with Open-Source

Through our collaboration with Valve, we’ve enhanced the graphics kernel drivers for the Steam Deck and improved SteamOS support in multiple areas. To name a few:

  • HDR support in the kernel for richer colors and better visuals
  • CPU scheduler improvements to reduce latency and enhance responsiveness

Come play a game at our booth and experience the difference!

🚀 Running Windows Games on ARM with Turnip & FEX-Emu

Our work on Turnip (Vulkan drivers for Qualcomm Adreno) and FEX-Emu (x86-to-ARM64 translation) enables Windows games to run seamlessly on ARM64 devices, all in real-time, with minimal performance loss.

🌍 Servo: A Rust-Powered Web Engine

We’re advancing Servo, a lightweight and embeddable web engine written in Rust, supported by Linux Foundation Europe. At our booth, you’ll see it running on Raspberry Pis, as well as Android devices using the Turnip drivers we developed.

📱 WPE WebKit on Embedded Devices

As usual, we’re showcasing WPE WebKit running on two versions of the popular Raspberry Pi board: you can see it both in the Raspberry Pi 3 demonstrating capable and lightweight web browsing on embedded systems, as well as on a Raspberry Pi 5 where WPE can leverage the extra power available to go further and beyond.

🕶️ Wolvic: The Open-Source VR Browser

Wolvic is the only open-source VR web browser, supporting multiple devices. This year, we’ll demo it on the Pico 4 headset, a must-see for those working on XR and immersive experiences.
